10 national first-class museums unveiled at Sanya ICIF

During the Sanya International Cultural Industry Fair (SICIF) to be held from Dec 24 to 27, 10 national first-class museums including the Shaanxi History Museum, Sanxingdui Museum, and Henan Museum will bring cultural relics and cultural and creative products to Sanya. SICIF will be open to the public for free.

The Shaanxi History Museum is a national first-class museum and has been rated as a world-class museum by the United Nations. It will bring 31 items to SICIF, such as bronze wares, agate cups and round fans.

Sanxingdui Museum will bring cultural relics such as bronze statues, purple pottery and bronze masks.

Henan Museum is also a national first-class museum and enjoys a strong reputation. Its "archaeological blind box" has proved popular and will be shown at SICIF.

Another seven first-class museums around China, namely the Liaoning Provincial Museum, Capital Museum, Jilin Provincial Museum, China (Hainan) Museum of the South China Sea, Tsinghua University Art Museum, Beijing Lu Xun Museum, and Beijing National Culture Palace Museum will also participate in SICIF, providing visitors with an opportunity to see exquisite collections and buy cultural and creative products.
