SICIF presents 10 thematic exhibitions for public

The 2021 Sanya International Cultural Industry Fair (SICIF) opened on Dec 24 at Sanya Tianya Haijiao International Convention and Exhibition Center and will last until Dec 27. The four-day event prepares 10 thematic exhibitions and 16 sub-venues, and presents nearly 50,000 cultural products for public.

As a key exhibition, the "Belt and Road Exhibition" invited 42 countries and regions including France, Mongolia, the United Kingdom and Israel as well as foreign institutions and foreign companies in China to participate.

The "Domestic Provinces and Cities Exhibition" is one of the 10 thematic exhibitions, including 19 domestic provincial and municipal government pavilions.

The "Hainan Free Trade Port Exhibition" will focus on promoting Hainan’s main tourism and cultural pillar industry projects. Nearly 60 local pavilions, set up by cities like Haikou and Sanya and some well-known Hainan enterprises and institutions like Hainan Radio and Television Group and the Hainan Tropical Ocean Institute, will debut at the event. 

The "Museum Cultural and Creative Exhibition" brings together 10 national first-class museums such as the Sanxingdui Museum, the Capital Museum, and the Henan Museum to exhibit collections and derivative cultural and creative products.

During the SICIF, there will be a series of events such as an opening ceremony, the "Sanya Night" themed welcome dinner, the Sanya International Cultural and Creative Design Competition and the "Most Beautiful Reading Space" Award Ceremony.

This year's SICIF will also carry out a number of signings and release a number of major projects to build the SICIF brand and cultivate new growth points for Sanya's economic development. On Dec 24, the signing ceremony of the letter of intent for establishing sister city relations between Sanya and Lida of Belarus, Punta del Este of Uruguay, and Batumi of Georgia will be held. Major industrial projects will be signed at the International Summit Forum and Cultural Industry Project Signing Promotion Conference on Dec 25.
