Sanya's transportation system constantly improving

In recent years, Sanya's transportation system has been constantly improving, making it easier for people to travel and bringing more opportunities for the city's development.

Lucheng Avenue is located between the high-speed railway around the island and the Sanya Ring Expressway, with a total length of about 18.5 kilometers. It has diverted traffic pressure on Fenghuang Road, another main road in Sanya's urban area.

On July 1, the Yueming Bridge opened to traffic. This bridge connects the urban areas on both banks of the Sanya River, spanning a total length of 225 meters. It has brought opportunities to bolster the city's economic development.

During the 2021 Spring Festival, the first phase of the second channel of Yalong Bay opened to traffic, adding a new channel from the city's urban area to Yalong Bay. The beautiful scenery along the channel has attracted many tourists.

Sanya's traffic network also extends to the surrounding areas of the city. After the whole line of the Chongshan-Haitang Expressway is completed, the driving time from Sanya to Baoting will be shortened to 30 minutes, and it will only take 45 minutes to travel from Sanya to Wuzhishan. After the opening of the Lingshui Tufu Bay-Sanya Haitang Bay channel, a driving trip between the two bays will be cut by 10 km.
