Sanya cultural expo to highlight maritime economy

The 9th Sanya International Cultural Industry Expo will run from Dec 30 to Jan 2 at the Sanya Tianya Haijiao Mangrove International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The four-day event, which will have free entry for all visitors, will focus on the maritime world. The expo will illustrate the enduring relationship between man and the oceans and seas across the passage of time, as well as its impact on the humanities and technology – and it will emphasize the thriving maritime economy to day.

Using different venues like the Sanya CBD Cultural and Art Center, the Sanya Mass Art Museum and others, the expo will host activities such as the Ocean Cultural Tourism Market and an Ocean Culture-themed New Year's Eve Concert.

The event will provide a platform for the maritime cultural industry. Exhibitors, investors and financial institutions will interact directly – facilitating transactions and partnerships in maritime cultural products, technology projects and tourism resources.

The organizers say their vision is to unite the cultural, tourism and trade sectors globally, inviting leading marine cultural entities and research institutions.

The goal is to enhance international cooperation in maritime cultural preservation, inheritance and innovation – positioning the Sanya Cultural Industry Expo as a key hub for global discourses and collaboration in maritime culture.
