Sanya awards $2.3m to listed company CAISSA Touristic

CAISSA Touristic was awarded 15 million yuan ($2.3 million) by Sanya egret plan, becoming the first listed company to enjoy the honor since Sanya began the plan.

In order to speed up the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, promote the development of Sanya's financial industry, and gather listed companies, the city of Sanya formulated the Sanya egret plan, which states that listed companies that register in Sanya will be given a one-time reward of 15 million yuan.

In May 2021, CAISSA Touristic announced that it had officially set up operations in Sanya Central Business District. It held a ceremony in celebration and signed cooperation agreements with 17 enterprises in Hainan province. Since then, CAISSA Touristic has embarked on a new development journey.

A staff member in charge of CAISSA Touristic said that the enterprise will focus on the construction of Hainan FTP and expand its business to encompass tourism, food, new retail, duty-free shopping, digital science and health care in an effort to become a large comprehensive cultural and tourism industry group.
