Sanya business wins National Key Little Giant Enterprise award

Sanya Hailan Huanyu Marine Information Technology Company, an enterprise incubated and cultivated by the Sanya Zhongke Remote Sensing Information Industrial Park, was recently awarded as a National Specialization, Refinement, Characterisation and Novelty (SRCN) Little Giant Enterprise.

SRCN "little giant" enterprises refer to pioneer enterprises that focus on market segments, have strong innovation capabilities, have a high market share, master key core technologies, and have excellent quality and efficiency.

The company's success in being selected signifies that the company has made notable achievements in technology, production, service and development. The award will also benefit the company's technological innovation, market expansion and brand construction.

Sanya Hailan Huanyu settled in Sanya in November 2016. It is an innovative enterprise focusing on marine informatization. It provides comprehensive coverage of marine three-dimensional monitoring information services with radar nets as its core, which plays important roles and significance in the fields of marine supervision, marine disaster prevention and mitigation, marine environmental protection, marine and island management, and marine rights maintenance.

As of June 2021, the Sanya Zhongke Remote Sensing Information Industrial Park has invested a total of about 300 million yuan ($46 million) in cultivating and incubating over 200 enterprises, and has accumulated more than 100 intellectual property rights. The establishment of well-known enterprises is benefiting from Hainan's continuous creation of a first-class business environment.

"The industrial park is in a critical period of development. We will continue to improve the effectiveness of investment promotion, and enhance the attraction and competitiveness of the park," said Yang Tianliang, executive director of the Hainan Chinese Academy of Sciences' Aerospace Information Research Institute. Yang also noted that the park will promote a number of high-tech projects to be put into production as soon as possible, contributing to the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
