Sanya holds flower market, lantern show to welcome Spring Festival

As Spring Festival approaches, Sanya holds various events, including the flower market and the lantern display. The city is full of a thick Spring Festival atmosphere.

On Jan 8, the second Sanya Spring Festival Flower Market and the 2023 Spring Festival Goods Market opened in Lucheng Flower Market, attracting many citizens and tourists. These events will continue until Feb 6.

This activity focuses on five areas, namely the flower and green plant exhibition area, the agricultural products market for helping farmers, the cultural and creative market, the Spring Festival goods market, and the children's amusement zone, to build a market complex integrating trade, exhibition, play, popular science and flower culture display.

The 2023 Spring Festival Lantern Show is being held from Dec 23, 2022 to Feb 26, 2023 in Sanya Paddy Field National Park. The scenic spot arranges lighting along the entrance and passageways, creating a "flower and lantern sea" more than 100 mu (6.7 hectares) in size.

During Spring Festival, Sanya Paddy Field National Park will provide people with more new ways to play in the beautiful countryside amidst the landscape of Nanfan Lotus Science and Technology Planting and Base and the fruit and vegetable picking garden.
