HYROX 2026 China finale gets set for Sanya

The hybrid fitness competition known as HYROX — which has quickly become a sensation on the global fitness scene — is currently gearing up for its China finale in the city of Sanya, located in the country's southernmost province of Hainan.

To be held on Dec 5-6, the HYROX Sanya event will unfold at the Sanya Poly International Expo Center.

As the last race of the year in China, the HYROX Year-End Gala is also scheduled to take place. Top athletes from across the nation will gather on Sanya's tropical shores to celebrate the season's champions.

HYROX is a rapidly expanding worldwide phenomenon — stretching from Berlin to Asia — and now it's eagerly awaited in Sanya. In fact, Sanya is widely seen as the ultimate spot to "race and relax" and just generally chill out.

After competing, participants can unwind at Yalong Bay or Wuzhizhou Island, enjoy water parks with family, savor authentic coconut chicken or seafood and indulge in some duty-free shopping.

More international flights are now heading directly to Sanya, with fitness fans the world over planning a "race-cation".
