Sanya houses 126 high-tech enterprises

Sanya's number of high-tech enterprises has increased to 126, officials announced during a seminar on scientific and technological innovation, which was held in Sanya on July 29.

It is expected that by the end of 2023, the number of high-tech enterprises in Sanya will reach 400 and the operating income of high-tech enterprises will reach 20 billion yuan ($3.1 billion) as Sanya will strive to become one of the nation's innovative cities.

Hainan province attaches great importance to scientific and technological innovation and demonstrated this by developing a "Three-year Action Plan”, requiring all cities and counties in the province to use unconventional means to achieve the technological innovation turnaround.
