Sanya Cruise Homeport Industrial Park

Sanya Cruise HomeportIndustrial Park was approved by the Hainan provincial government in 2015 as a provincial industrial park. Located in Tianyadistrict, the Fenghuang Island Cruise Homeport Industry Park has a planned area of 86.36 hectares. Island I has a total area of 36.5 hectares, 19.3 hectares of which has been developed. Island II has a total area of 49.86 hectares. 

As for planning and authorizing, in March 2019, the Sanya municipal government approved the Regulatory Plan of the China (Hainan) Pilot Free Trade Zone Sanya Headquarters Economy and Central Business Zone. The Planning Bureau of Sanya Municipal Government is conducting a Special Study on International Cruise Homeport. The park is gradually conducting industry location plan. 

As for industry positioning, Sanya Cruise Homeport Industrial Park take scruise tourism as its leading industry. It is dedicated to developing cruises and yachts services, cruise port supporting services, international cruise distribution, onshore international distribution, international consumer goods centers, hotel food and beverage, as well as culture and entertainment. 

As for investment and output, the output of the park in 2018 was 124 million yuan, with an average annual output of 131 million yuan. In 2018 the investment in the park reached 1.36 billion yuan, with an average annual investment of 790 million yuan. The park's tax revenue of 2018 was 245 million yuan, and the average annual tax revenue was 282 million yuan. The park has an employed population of 499. 

As for business attraction, the park’s Fenghuang Island helicopter sightseeing project has already been launched. The park is now negotiating the commercial street project with Nordi Group. Love in Haitang Wedding Corporation is willing to establish an indoor wedding base. The park is also consistently negotiating a science and technology theme park project with Huashengzhihai Corporation. As for future duty-free cooperation in Island II, the park is negotiating with China Duty Free Group.
