First plane with Sanya city logo lands at Sanya airport

A plane operated by Russian I-Fly Airlines emblazoned with the Sanya city logo landed at Sanya Phoenix International Airport on Jan 11, bringing 342 tourists from Yekaterinburg to the famous Chinese coastal city.

It was the first time that a plane with Sanya's city logo had been seen at the airport. The design on the exterior of the plane helps spread the image of Sanya to more people around the world, as well as bears profound significance for building and improving Sanya’s international air route network.

For a long period, Russian-speaking regions have been the main source of foreign visitors to Sanya. As of now, there are 22 cities in Russian-speaking regions in the world that operate flights to Sanya and other Russian-speaking regions.
