Sanya actual use of foreign capital totals 28.8m from January to April

From January to April, the actual use of foreign capital in Sanya stood at 28.77 million, up 45.8 percent on a year-on-year basis, according to information from the Sanya municipal bureau of commerce.

During the four months of the year, 24 foreign-invested companies settled in Sanya, an increase of 14.3 percent compared with the same period last year. The number of newly added foreign-invested companies accounted for 21.8 percent of Hainan's total.   

The newly established foreign-funded enterprises cover areas like business services, internet, wholesale and retail, real estate, as well as culture and arts. They were mainly from the US, Russia, Finland, the Netherlands, and other countries, as well as Taiwan and Hong Kong.
