Sanya to host seed industry forum

The city of Sanya, Hainan province will host a seed industry development forum on Oct 30 in Haitang Bay.

The forum aims to provide a platform for international exchanges on seed industry development, explore effective mechanisms on the integration between industry, education, and research, as well as serve as a bridge connecting Hainan with related industry cooperation opportunities.

Several academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, such as Dai Jingrui, Hu Peisong, and Zou Xuexiao, have been invited to the event where they will share their insights on boosting the Hainan Free Trade Port's role in international seed trade, promoting the development of the seed industry at Nanfan Scientific and Research Breeding Base, as well as the "Belt and Road" international seed trade.

Experts from the Biotechnology Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences will also be invited to deliver speeches on special themes.
