Over 200 enterprises settle in Sanya remote sensing park

More than 200 enterprises have gathered in Sanya Zhongke Remote Sensing Information Industrial Park to date, said Yang Tianliang, chairman of the park while welcoming the people-in-charge from 3D-printing firm Shenzhen Jinfeng Zengcai Technology.

According to Yang, Shenzhen Jinfeng Zengcai Technology can team with enterprises in the industrial park to manufacture core satellite components by using 3D printing technology, boosting Sanya's remote sensing information industry.

Sanya Zhongke Remote Sensing Information Industrial Park is focused on satellite design, operation, and remote sensing technology. Centering on satellite development, measurement and control, data receiving and processing, application development, as well as other parts of the industrial chain, the park introduces and fosters companies in aviation, marine technology, aerospace information, and other high-tech sectors, aiming to build a satellite remote sensing information industry cluster with Chinese characteristics.

Yang added that the park has introduced and fostered more than 200 enterprises in less than five years. In addition, the whole industrial chain of satellite remote sensing information has taken shape, while an industrial chain of aerospace information technology is expected to form, among which four enterprises have passed the national high-tech enterprise certification.

Sanya Hailan Huanyu Information Technology, the first enterprise introduced by the park, settled in Sanya in November 2016. The company has set up 250 radar stations across the country and has based its big data of inshore monitoring in the tropical city of Sanya. In 2020, it signed contracts, worth  nearly 100 million yuan ($15.5 million), becoming a model company for the technologies nurtured by the industrial park over the past few years.
