Air route launched to connect Sanya, Lhasa

A Sanya-Zunyi-Lhasa air route was initiated on March 30 with the landing of Tibet Airlines flight TV9919 at Sanya Phoenix International Airport.

Flight TV9919 departs from Lhasa at 9 am and arrives at Sanya at 2:25 pm every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, while the return flight, number TV9920, leaves Sanya at 3:30 pm and arrives at Lhasa at 9:35 pm.

The first air route between Hainan province and the Tibet autonomous region, it will strengthen the cooperation between Sanya and Lhasa in official visits, industry, tourism and culture. Travelers can now reach any domestic provincial capital and municipality from Sanya airport.

Daily flights will be available between Sanya and Lhasa after Tibet Airlines opens the Sanya-Dazhou-Lhasa air route for Monday and Friday fights and the Sanya-Wanzhou-Lhasa air route for Wednesday and Sunday service.
