International organization representatives get to know Sanya's industries better

A delegation of representatives from international organizations were given a tour of Sanya from June 5 to 6, to learn more about the city's tourism, modern services, high-tech industries and seed innovation.

Led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation was composed of members from international organizations in China including the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the International Organization for Migration, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the New Development Bank, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the International Network for Bamboo and Rattan, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization and the World Health Organization.

The delegation's itinerary in Sanya included the Sanya Central Business District, the Sanya Paddy Field National Park, Sanya International Duty-free Shopping Complex and Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City.

Praising Sanya's development in recent years, the delegation members said they believe that the Hainan Free Trade Port has a bright future and promising prospects, and hope that the tour will be an opportunity to further expand cooperation, work together in new ways, and launch more projects in Hainan. They also hope to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results, and help boost the high-quality development of Hainan FTP.
