Sanya ICIF wins annual 'China Convention and Exhibition Star' award

At the 18th China Convention and Exhibition Industry Summit Forum (CCESF) recently held in Shanghai, the Sanya International Cultural Industry Fair (ICIF) won the 18th annual "China Convention and Exhibition Star" award as well as "China's Outstanding Featured Exhibition" award.

The event is one of the most influential industry events in China's convention and exhibition industry, inviting more than 300 participants including officials from exhibition cities, exhibition entrepreneurs and executives.

The Sanya ICIF is co-sponsored by the publicity department of the CPC Sanya municipal committee, Sanya municipal bureau of tourism, culture, radio, television and sports, Sanya municipal bureau of commerce, and Sanya Cultural Industry Association. It has become one of the most popular and important international large-scale exhibitions in Hainan province in recent years.

Since it was first held in 2015, a total of 116 countries, regions and international sister cities have participated in the exhibition, while nearly 1,300 well-known companies operating in China, and 93 envoys from various countries have led delegations to participate in the conference.

In October 2021, the Hainan Provincial Government issued the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Construction of an International Tourism Consumption Center", which clearly stated that the Sanya ICIF should be prioritized.

The 6th Sanya ICIF will be held from Dec 24 to 27, 2021, with 10 first-class museums around China participating, providing the people of Sanya with an opportunity to see exquisite collections and buy cultural and creative products.
