Sanya hosts 25th intl wedding festival in Tianya Haijiao

The 25th Sanya Tianya Haijiao International Wedding Festival is being held in Sanya from Nov 28 to 30. Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area's facilities have been upgraded, and several new interesting sites have been added.

An all-new duty-free shopping promotion event will invite nearly 300 merchants in Sanya, including duty-free shops, hotels, wedding photography companies and scenic spots to participate. Couples who have gotten married within the last year will enjoy a number of benefits if they present their marriage certificate.

The event will cooperate with the world-renowned Galia Lahav wedding dress brand to stage the Galia Lahav 2022 "Do Not Disturb" wedding dress show at the Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area on Nov 30.

Zheng Conghui, chairman of Sanya Tianya Haijiao Tourism Development, said that the event will build an international industrial wedding festival brand, and push forward the integration of the wedding industry with the duty-free, hotel, and tourism industries.

The event aims to help Sanya become a world-renowned wedding tourism and vacation destination and aid in the construction of Hainan's international tourism consumption center, Zheng added.
