4 centers on marine-related technologies unveiled in Sanya

The Sanya Ocean Institute of Ocean University of China and Sanya Agricultural Investment Marine Industry Group held a signing ceremony on April 20 for further collaboration.

 
Four marine-related technology innovation centers, namely the Tropical Aquaculture Innovation Center, Tropical Marine Biological Resource Technology Innovation Center, Marine Functional Materials and Protection Technology Innovation Center, and Marine Information Technology Innovation Center, were inaugurated.

Both sides are expected to bring together high-quality resources to complement each other's strengths and accelerate the transformation of their industrial, technological, and talent advantages into development advantages. This is poised to inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of Sanya's marine industry.

"Our team will work towards enhancing the creation of excellent breeds based in Hainan and spreading across the country. In partnership with Sanya Agricultural Investment Group, we will establish an innovative platform for creating high-end aquaculture germplasm," said Bao Zhenmin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
