Sanya to establish sister city relationship with St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda

On Sept 14, a signing ceremony for the Letter of Intent to establish a sister city relationship between Sanya, China, and St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda, took place in Sanya.

According to the Letter of Intent, both cities agree to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between their peoples based on mutual respect and equal benefits. They aim to enhance cooperation and exchanges in agriculture, tourism, trade, and culture, making substantive efforts toward the formation of a formal sister city relationship.

The establishment of this sister city relationship between Sanya and St. John's is expected to further promote cooperation across multiple fields, benefiting the citizens of both cities and injecting new momentum into friendly exchanges in this new era.
