Sanya launches 100 cultural, sports events to boost summer tourism

This summer, Sanya is rolling out nearly 100 events featuring sports, culture, and technology to enrich the visitors experience and highlight the city's diverse charm.

The Let's Dance! finals will feature an Asia-Pacific youth showdown with international judges, while the robotics championship (July 20–24) is expected to attract researchers and students from across the nation, fostering talent in emerging tech fields. Over 50,000 visitors are expected to attend the events. 

The "Sanya Travel Guide" platform offers real-time event updates and free ticket reservations.

The activities are part of Sanya's efforts to strengthen its global appeal and promote high-quality tourism development through integrated resources and unique experiences. 

Moving forward, the city plans to leverage more large-scale events to enhance its tourism offerings and drive sustainable industry growth.
