As summer sets in, Sanya city in China's southernmost Hainan province, is currently riding a boom in spending by inbound tourists.

Thanks to China's extension of the visa-free policy for Russians until the end of 2027 and the ongoing expansion of international flight routes, there's been a noticeable boost in overseas visitors to Sanya.

Duty-free shops and popular attractions are bustling with visitors and the range of shopping and leisure options is growing.

Sanya is currently working to enhance the city's tourism experience like international payment systems and foreign-related services — aiming to make travel and leisure activities even more convenient for international tourists.
