Sanya's Yucai Ecological Zone, known as the "back garden of Sanya", has rolled out four themed routes offering immersive escapes.

Route 1: Heritage trail

In Alami Miao village, embroider sachets, join solemn Panhuang dances, sip mountain rice wine, taste rainbow zongzi and sticky rice, and don brilliant Miao costumes. The Hafang Li Cooperative offers lessons in brocade weaving, pottery and rattan craft; try on traditional garb amid Li songs.

Route 2: Breathe deep in the forest.

Try your hand at farming, then tackle jungle adventures, swift mountain bike trails or pulse-racing paintball. Don't miss the monthly "Moonlit Trail Run", sparking children's adventurous spirits amid sweat and crisp mountain air.

Route 3: Greenery escape

Nanta Waterfall plunges like a silk ribbon, its roar and mist earning it the nickname "Sanya's Huangguoshu". After that, pedal through quiet Yaliang village's arrow-straight, tree-lined lanes, then rest by the ancient banyan at dusk as sunset melts away your worries.

Route 4: Fruit-Scented Summer

In July, Yucai turns its fertile soil into an orchard trail where visitors can pick sun-kissed tropical fruit. Wander through plantations, pose amid creative farm art, and feel the poetry of the tropics. Don't miss Majiao's durian-melon orchard!

Come to Yucai this summer – imprint the landscape into your memories and let the fields heal your soul.
