Sanya Phoenix International Airport

Only 11 kilometers northwest of downtown Sanya city, Sanya Phoenix International Airport is just 5 kilometers from the famous tourism site, the End of the Earth (Tianya Haijiao). 

Open to the public since July 1, 1994, its 4E standard flight area has a parking area for 66 large and medium sized airplanes in addition to the runways. The parking area is located in front of the terminal building. The fare is five yuan for compact cars, 10 yuan for medium-sized cars and 15 yuan for large cars.

Passengers can store their luggage at the Inquiry Center on the 2nd Level of the Terminal Building by either the day or the hour. The lost and found counter is located on the 2nd Level of the Terminal Building at the Inquiry Center. 

Other special services are offered to certain passengers such as unaccompanied individuals (children and elders) and passengers in wheel chairs. People must ask for the service at the time of booking tickets. Passengers on stretchers will need to contact the airport urgent-care center. 

In 2018, the airport saw a passenger throughput of over 20 million.
