Sanya launches new routes to Vietnam

On June 15-16, two new international direct flight routes between Sanya and Vietnam were launched, namely the "Sanya - Ho Chi Minh City" route and the "Sanya - Hanoi" route.

The "Sanya - Ho Chi Minh City" route operates on Mondays and Fridays, while the "Sanya - Hanoi" route operates on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Both routes are operated by Vietnam's Bamboo Airways using Airbus 321 aircraft equipped with eight business-class seats. This configuration caters to both cost-conscious leisure travelers and business travelers in need of added comfort and efficiency.

Data indicates that the inaugural flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Sanya achieved passenger load factors exceeding 95 percent, underscoring the robust interest and enthusiasm of the Vietnamese market for travel to Sanya. In the future, the reliable schedule of these direct flights will be essential for tourism, cross-border study programs, and business exchanges.

The year of 2025 has been designated as the "China-Vietnam Year of People-to-People Exchange". In recent years, Sanya has hosted a number of campaigns targeting Southeast Asia, inviting travel agencies, media, and corporate representatives to gain a better understanding of Sanya's market and policy advantages. The accessibility of the new routes will further enhance the effectiveness of these initiatives, attracting more Southeast Asian resources to Sanya and injecting new vitality into the city's efforts to build a "Southeast Asia Partnership Network."
