Sanya to build super greenway, create high-quality living circle

Sanya plans to create a holistic greenway network that will span a total length of 750 kilometers.

The city plans to build a 33.7-km-long demonstration section of the super greenway, connecting main road sections of Sanya's urban areas including Dong'an Wetland Park, Mangrove Park, Linchun Ridge, Sanya Bay, and Coconut Dream Corridor.

Through improving the ecological environment, and adding recreational and sports facilities, a 15-minute walking distance living circle along the greenway will also be created.

To date, 21.9 km of the greenway has been constructed. The 33.7-km-long demonstration project is now in its construction phase, and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

After the completion of this demonstration greenway, the city's shopping, tourism, and cultural industries will be further developed.
