Sanya strives to become modern service industry hub

Sanya has been working to drive the aggregation of industries to empower the high-quality development of the modern services in order to build itself into an internationally competitive hub for modern service sector.

From January to April, total service trade in Sanya was valued at more than 4.1 billion yuan ($570 million), a remarkable growth of 29.4 percent year-on-year and demonstrating robust development resilience and growth potential. Sanya's number of service trade partners has increased to 74, encompassing a broad range of fields.

On the journey of building the Hainan Free Trade Port, Sanya has demonstrated a pioneering spirit and innovative drive, focusing on institutional integration and innovation. The city has achieved breakthroughs in multiple areas, unleashing strong momentum for growth.

Policy dividends are stimulating corporate vitality. Sanya's Central Business District has seen both modern finance and modern commerce approved as provincial-level industrial clusters worth billions of dollars. Emerging foreign trade formats such as bulk commodities, automobiles, and aero materials are flourishing.

Headquarters economy, financial services, modern commerce, digital economy, as well as the flourishing cultural relics and art industry are all experiencing rapid development. The construction of the cruise tourism experimental zone and the yacht industry reform experimental zone is progressing in tandem.

A world-class business environment continues to stimulate the market, with various measures channeling policy dividends directly to businesses in the city. The introduction of special incentives for the headquarters economy and investment promotion has made the city a magnet for global resources.
