Sanya 2026 Games gets set for closing ceremony celebrations

The closing ceremony of the celebrated 6th Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026 will be held at Yasha Park at 8:00 pm on April 30.

The one hour-long event is set to wrap up the sporting extravaganza in style — in a simple yet heartfelt way.

Following the principles of being "simple, safe and spectacular" and revolving around the themes of "youth, friendship and improvement", the ceremony will focus on the ideas of "One Asia", "Harmony in Diversity", as well as "A Community with a Shared Future for Mankind", in an attempt to artistically express the Asian people's hopes for peace, unity and inclusivity while reinforcing the commitment to work together for a better future.

The event includes three main parts. There will be a sporting ceremony, a cultural performance with the extinguishing of the flame and a beach concert — comprising 12 segments in total.

The cultural performance and the flame extinguishing segment will be showcased in two themed chapters: "Friendships that Last" and "Home at Tianya".

These segments aim to capture the excitement of the Sanya 2026 Games, the dynamic spirit of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the youthful energy of Sanya, evoking the idea of an Asian community with a shared future and fostering a sense of connection that transcends borders.
