Winter brings egrets to Sanya

In winter, Sanya is not only known for its charming seaside scenery, but also for the egrets that can be seen flying around. Egrets are water birds with high requirements for habitats. They are recognized as "environmental monitoring birds."

Sanya River exposes a large area of shoal during low tide that attracts many egrets looking for food.
