Global partners visit Sanya to explore cultural and tourism

The Sanya Tourism Board sent a delegation to Berlin in March, in order to host a promotion event and take part in the ITB Berlin — the world's biggest travel trade show. There, they got acquainted with several partners.

One of the partners was Athena Consulting GmbH, a German company that the bureau engaged with during their time at ITB. On April 8, the company sent a representative to Sanya for a follow-up visit, bringing with it loads of enthusiasm and interest.

You Jiao, founder of Galerie Olymp and managing director of Athena Consulting GmbH and Davide Perniceni, an Italian artist, arrived in Sanya to explore opportunities in cultural performances and exhibitions there.

Their visit offered a great opportunity for Sanya to attract international cultural projects and extend its cultural and tourism sector.

Back in Berlin, the two were very impressed by Sanya's tourism assets, rich cultural heritage and the expansive prospects of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Drawn by Sanya's natural beauty and cultural appeal, they also saw great potential for international cultural partnerships.

Keen to experience Sanya firsthand, they decided to pay a visit to better understand its resources, policy environment and markets.

During the visit, they wanted to combine their expertise in international cultural performances and exhibitions with Sanya's local strengths.

With the exciting development of the Hainan FTP as a backdrop, they're exploring collaboration opportunities to help international cultural projects take root and flourish in Sanya.
