Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant traditions of Sanya's ethnic customs! The much-anticipated Sanyuesan Festival (the third day of the third month in the Chinese calendar) is back, bringing a dazzling lineup of cultural celebrations to Sanya from March to April.
From March 30 to April 1, Yalong Bay International Rose Valley serves as the central hub:
-On the evening of March 30, an opening gala, where traditional dances and folk music intertwine with the scent of roses, set the tone for the celebrations.
-On March 31, visitors can watch artisans craft intricate Li brocade and Miao embroidery masterpieces in live competitions or join traditional ethnic sports games.
-From March 28 to April 1, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Immersive Exhibition invites hands-on experiences - craft batik textiles, mold Li pottery, or try wax printing under expert guidance.

The festival culminates on April 1 with a closing ceremony at Sanya Minzu Middle School, uniting artists in a symphony of ethnic harmonies.
Additionally, from March 27 to April, some ethnic culture exhibitions, food experiences, and tourism activities will be held across Sanya’s sports center, scenic spots, and shopping malls.
