Sanya Nursing Vocational College to begin operation this September

The Phase I construction of the Sanya Nursing Vocational College project is progressing well, with multiple buildings being capped, local media outlets reported on April 21.

The school plans to be completed and operational by August of this year, with the first batch of students commencing their studies in September.

Located at the rear of Yucai Middle School in the Yucai Ecological Zone, the Sanya Nursing Vocational College project is divided into two areas of the educational zone and the living zone.

 
The Sanya Nursing Vocational College project is the first privately-run higher vocational school in China specializing in nursing, approved for establishment by the Ministry of Education to provide complete life-cycle care services.

 
The planned total area of the college is 240,000 square meters. According to the project construction requirements, the first phase of construction covers an area of 92,000 sq m. In addition to the living area, the educational area mainly consists of two teaching buildings, A1 and A2. The northern side of the A1 teaching building has already been capped, and the southern side of the A1, as well as the A2 teaching building, are scheduled to be capped by the end of this month.

The college's program is expected to run for three years, with an enrollment capacity of 6,000 students and an initial plan to enroll 2,000 students in the first year.

 
Once completed, the college intends to contribute to the development of Sanya and the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port by nurturing and providing various high-end nursing talents for complete life-cycle care services from birth to end-of-life care.
