Sanya Nursing Vocational College boosts Hainan's healthcare sector

The second phase of the Sanya Nursing Vocational College project is progressing smoothly, with an expected completion by the end of 2025, leading to an expansion of student enrollment.

Located at 18 Lixin Road in the Yucai Ecological Zone, Sanya Nursing Vocational College is a privately run, non-profit, full-time higher vocational college approved by the Hainan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education.

"The second phase of construction includes an administrative office building, lecture halls, and dormitories, which upon completion will enhance our school's educational environment and drive high-quality development," stated Fu Cong, the project manager of Sanya Nursing Vocational College.

The total construction area of the project is 240,000 square meters, divided into three phases. The first construction phase has been completed, comprising teaching buildings, dormitories, and a cafeteria.

Last year, Sanya Nursing Vocational College introduced six five-year higher vocational diploma programs, including Nursing, Rehabilitation Therapy Technology, Traditional Chinese Rehabilitation Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Aesthetics Technology, and Oral Health Care, enrolling nearly 300 students in the inaugural batch.

In the future, the college aims to elevate professional development and expand its educational scope, contributing to advancing healthcare services in Sanya and Hainan Free Trade Port.
