The Sanya Overseas Scholars Innovation Park was launched on May 13, marking a major step in China's efforts to attract top-tier global talent. Jointly established by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Hainan provincial government, the park is designed to serve as a comprehensive hub for talent cultivation, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

As a key hub for high-quality development in southern China, the park integrates the resources of the China (Hainan) HR Service Industrial Park's Sanya branch and operates under a "one park, two zones" model, linking Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City with the Sanya Central Business District.

Since its inception, the innovation park has attracted 2,388 national and provincial-level high-end talents, 32 provincial innovation teams, 181 high-tech firms, and 167 leading enterprises - including 65 Fortune 500 companies. Nearly 1,000 overseas-educated returnees have already launched their ventures in the park.

Moving forward, the park will expand its lifecycle incubation services - including financing support, legal consulting, and streamlined business registration —-while partnering with international organizations to strengthen its global talent network. "This park is set to become a powerful magnet for overseas talent, a place where innovation thrives and entrepreneurship dreams take shape," said a provincial official during the unveiling ceremony.
