Get ready for an unforgettable gastronomic journey at the third Sanya Rural Food Festival, taking place from Sept 30 to Oct 6 in Liupan village, Jiyang district of Sanya. The week-long celebration brings together the best flavors from across Sanya and Hainan province.

Discover Sanya's culinary map

Explore four themed zones, featuring over 80 vendors showcasing Sanya's diverse food culture.

Taste regional specialties from all five districts of Sanya — including Hongsha mooncakes, Tengqiao pork ribs, fresh seafood barbecue and traditional Li-Miao ethnic triple-color rice.

Don't miss out on the vibrant night market snacks from the host village or the famous Hainan dishes like Wenchang chicken and Linghui rice noodles. Be sure to pick up a food map at the entrance to guide your culinary exploration.

Interactive village experience

Beyond eating, the festival offers immersive activities through its unique Village Walk program.

Collect a mission guidebook and complete fun tasks — from learning Li ethnic songs to playing coconut bowling. Gather stamps from these activities to redeem them for special snacks or limited edition souvenirs. Team participation is recommended for the best experience!

Daily surprises and entertainment

Each day features a different theme, starting with National Day celebrations on Oct 1, Li-Miao cultural activities on Oct 3 and Mid-Autumn Festival games on Oct 6.

The stage area hosts continuous performances, from live bands to food challenges, ensuring non-stop entertainment from afternoon until evening.
