Intl residents in Hainan allowed to book tax services online

The Hainan Provincial Tax Bureau of the State Taxation Administration recently announced that it upgraded and optimized the tax appointment system in the "Hainan Tax Online" mini-program.

The upgraded system now includes recognition features for multiple documents, such as foreign passports and permanent residence permits for foreigners. This enhancement aims to provide more convenient tax services to a broader range of taxpayers, including foreign nationals.

The updated tax appointment system allows foreign nationals to book tax service appointments online, just like Chinese residents, choosing the time and location that best suits them. This improvement addresses previous issues where document recognition problems led to multiple trips and long waiting times, increasing satisfaction and convenience for foreign taxpayers.
