Sanya simplifies services for foreigners

Sanya has launched an integrated approval system for foreigners, streamlining the issuance of work and residence permits into a unified and efficient process.

Utilizing a "one-window acceptance, parallel review, and simultaneous issuance" approach, supported by multilingual guidance and full-process assistance at the government service center's International Service Zone, nine key services — including work permits, insurance registration, and recognition of foreign qualifications — are now consolidated into a single service window. Applicants need only submit their documentation once and can obtain both permits on-site during a single visit, significantly reducing the time and effort required for foreign enterprises and expatriates.

1. Application for foreigners' work prermit in China (for stays exceeding 90 days, excluding 90 days) submitted within China

2. Application for foreigners' work permit in China (for stays exceeding 90 days, excluding 90 days) submitted overseas + application for foreigners' work permit notification

3. Application for amendment of foreigners' work permit in China

4. Application for extension of foreigners' work permit in China

5. Application for cancellation of foreigners' work permit in China

6. Employee insurance registration

7. Recognition of foreign professional qualifications

8. Foreigner's residence permit (work category)

9. Participation of foreigners in professional title evaluation

Processing procedures:

Online Application: Log in to the Hainan Government Service Network through a computer → Click "Login" at the top right of the homepage → Search for and select the "One-Stop Service for Foreigners Working in China" → Select your preferred processing location to access the application page. On this page, you can see essential information, application instructions, processing steps, required documents, fee details, jointly handled matters, and FAQs. After entering, click "Online Processing" → Read the User Instructions → Select the options that best match your actual needs → Click "Confirm" to move forward to the form filling page and start your application.

Offline Application: Visit the Service Zone on the fifth Floor, Chengyun Building, No 352 Yingbin Road, Jiyang district, Sanya, to complete the process in person.
