Tianya District Mango and Dragon Fruit Industrial Park

Located in the central-northern part of Tianya district, the Tianya District Mango and Dragon Fruit Industrial Park is a key initiative for agricultural development.

With a planned area of 4,000 hectares and an investment of 139 million yuan ($19 million), the park was designated as Sanya's first provincial modern agriculture high-quality development industrial park in October 2022.

This region boasts abundant resources and a natural environment conducive to premium tropical fruits like mangoes, dragon fruits, and durians.

It also has strong sea, land, and air transportation links, including Sanya Phoenix International Airport and various harbor terminals, with a solid foundation for industrial development.

With around 173 hectares of construction projects completed to date, the park has stimulated the development of over 5,500 households in the surrounding areas, including Tailou, Shuijiao, Heitu, Hongtang, and Meicun villages.

Tianya district aims to create an industrial park that introduces and breeds new varieties while also focusing on research innovation and promotion, precision processing, sales, science outreach and sightseeing.
