Stomatology outpatient department of PKU opens in Sanya

The Yingbin outpatient department of Peking University Hospital of Stomatology in Sanya's Jiyang district was inaugurated on March 25.

 
It is expected that the new outpatient department will further leverage the role of Peking University Hospital of Stomatology in Sanya as a national dental regional medical center, providing more professional, convenient, and efficient dental diagnosis and treatment services for residents and tourists in Sanya and even the entire Hainan province.

The outpatient department began construction at the end of 2023. Currently, the facility is equipped with 26 comprehensive dental treatment units covering specialties such as dental restoration, orthodontics, implants, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, comprehensive dentistry, and oral mucosal diseases.

"The Yingbin outpatient department is the first medical institution outside Beijing to carry the label of 'Peking University School of Stomatology' and be directly operated and managed. This also represents a significant strategic and path exploration for Peking University's School of Stomatology, integrating the brand, technology, talents, management, and research transformation for the first time in over 80 years since the school's establishment," said a person in charge from Peking University's School of Stomatology.
