Spanning 32 mu (2.13 hectares), the research garden grows 264 fruit varieties - with pitaya, pineapple, longan and wax apple now ready for picking. The base serves as an experimental hub, testing new cultivars for yields, flavor and climate adaptability before introducing them to local farmers.

By providing high-quality seedlings, technical guidance and training programs, the institute helps to boost agricultural productivity and rural incomes.
This summer, Sanya's tables are growing sweeter thanks to this "fruit laboratory" - where science and nature are working together to create delicious diversity.
