Sanya holds tourism promotion in Kazakhstan

From Oct 26 to 29, the Sanya tourism board, along with travel companies from the Sanya Economic Circle, conducted a series of marketing and promotional activities in Astana and Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Over 30 travel companies from the Sanya Economic Circle participated in this event, covering various sectors such as hotel accommodation, transportation, and traditional Chinese medicine therapy.

The aim of the event was to promote Sanya's latest tourism products to the Kazakhstani and the entire Central Asian tourism market. It also provided an opportunity for the travel companies to optimize their tourism products according to market demand.

During the public promotion activities, Sanya brought tropical elements to Almaty and set up various interactive games at the event venue. Representatives from the travel companies introduced Sanya's featured wellness, entertainment, and accommodation products to local residents during these activities.

Currently, there are regular international direct flights between Sanya and Astana, as well as between Sanya and Almaty. Convenient visa-free policies, pleasant tropical climate, beautiful beaches, and abundant wellness tourism products are the main factors attracting Kazakhstani tourists to Sanya.

On March 15 this year, Hainan resumed its visa-free policy for people from 59 countries. Kazakhstani tourists can enter Sanya without a visa and stay for up to 30 days.
