Sanya unveils hosts of activities during Spring Festival holiday

The 2024 Sanya Spring Festival Tourism and Culture Season unveiled its curtain on Jan 19, with a press conference announcing the series of events held that day.

This year's event has involved the collaboration of all communities and villages in the city, organizing hundreds of Chinese New Year welcoming events and introducing thousands of travel-related products, bringing together numerous high-quality travel enterprises.

 
Nearly 300 diverse and interactive activities are planned, including a lantern show and a music carnival, encompassing various forms such as drone performances.

The city is also scheduled to set up "I Love Sanya" photo spots at major locations, encouraging residents and tourists to participate through activities such as collecting stamps and photos for a chance to win Sanya gift blind boxes, further enhancing city vitality through active engagement.

Sanya has also prepared the 2024 Sanya Craft Beer Festival, which is tailored to the consumption habits of foreign tourists.

A series of preferential tourism products for the Spring Festival period will be available, guiding various tourism enterprises to combine online and offline efforts based on their resources. Each scenic spot will offer discounted packages of 50 to 80 percent, including ticket discounts and peripheral sales, and hotels will also introduce discounted packages of 50 to 80 percent.

To seize the opportunity of the peak tourism consumption during the Spring Festival and to enhance the decisive role of government consumption vouchers, approximately 20 million yuan ($2.79 million) worth of offshore duty-free furniture and home appliances, 3C digital products, automobiles, and supermarket vouchers will be distributed.
