Experience traditional games of ethnic minorities in Sanya

The 12th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities will be held in Sanya this November. Tourists can enjoy the games and participate in similar activities during the event, immersing themselves in Chinese culture and traditions.

Tourists can enjoy various activities such as swinging, bamboo kayaking, traditional horseback riding, dragon boat racing, wooden ball games, shuttlecock kicking, climbing coconut trees, and crossbow shooting.

This game aims to celebrate the diverse ethnic cultures of China and promote unity among its different ethnic groups. The games are expected to bring together representatives from 35 delegations and over 7,000 athletes from 56 ethnic groups on one stage.

In addition, the games are set to feature 18 competitive events and more than 160 demonstration projects, highlighting the unique sports and cultural heritage of various ethnic minorities.

As athletes prepare to showcase their skills and traditions, audiences can look forward to a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and cultural exchange.
