This year, with continuous optimization of immigration management policies and a series of visa-free policies, the inbound and outbound passenger volume at the Sanya Phoenix International Airport port has steadily risen.

As of Oct 27, the Sanya Phoenix Immigration Border Checkpoint has examined over 3,000 flights this year, with the number of inbound and outbound passengers surpassing 500,000, marking a fourfold increase from last year and setting a new high in passenger flow for the same period in nearly four years.

Over 160,000 individuals have entered Sanya visa-free this year, accounting for 64 percent of the total inbound visitors. Countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, and South Korea are among the top nations that have arrived in Sanya, primarily for tourism and business purposes.

To ensure the smooth and secure passage of inbound and outbound travelers, the Sanya Phoenix Immigration Border Checkpoint opens inspection channels to total capacity, provides passenger guidance and advisory services, and establishes green channels for special groups such as the elderly, disabled, ill, and pregnant individuals, continuously enhancing inspection efficiency.

The Sanya airport has resumed 25 routes to and from 12 countries and regions, including Russia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Thailand, and Singapore, with over 100 inbound and outbound passenger flights operating weekly.
