New cultural, sports landmark set to enhance Sanya people's life quality

The inspection phase of the Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Sports and Culture Center project has commenced. It is on track to complete the joint acceptance of project completion in November.

The project is poised to cover a total construction area of 74,000 square meters and provide Yazhou residents with a comprehensive cultural and sports experience.

The sports center has a 600-person event hall, a standard gym, and an intelligent training field within the project. It has also introduced archery and sports rehabilitation programs. The center is committed to becoming a comprehensive fitness center and improving residents' health levels and sense of sports participation.

Spanning an area of 2,000 sq m, the art museum is set to serve as a hub for hosting small and medium-sized art exhibitions. Its mission is to facilitate art exchange, foster citizens' art appreciation abilities, cultivate a diversified art ecology, and drive the cultural prosperity of Yazhou through innovative initiatives.

The library is projected to acquire a collection of 134,000 books and to develop an intelligent reading corner that includes a wide range of categories. Its mission is to provide efficient reading services, foster learning and research, and safeguard cultural heritage.

The cinema boasts nine distinct theaters, including cutting-edge LED and expansive giant-screen theaters. These theaters utilize state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment to elevate the screening experience of Yazhou district and meet the residents' demand for premium film entertainment.
