Hungarian travel delegation explores Sanya's tourism potentia

From April 7 to 10, a delegation of nearly 70 Hungarians engaged in the travel industry, including leading tour operators and industry association representatives, visited Sanya for an inspection tour.

The trip aimed to showcase Sanya's unique attractions, visa-free policies, and high-quality services, as well as long-term cooperation and attract more European tourists to the city.

The itinerary featured immersive experiences, from the luxury Atlantis Sanya to traditional Chinese medicine therapies at Sanya Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Delegates explored cultural landmarks like Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone and Luhuitou Park, as well as local night markets, highlighting Sanya’s natural beauty and vibrant lifestyle.

Europe remains a major source of tourists for Sanya and is a key priority for the city. Following March's promotions at ITB Berlin and meetings with European airlines and travel agencies, Sanya is advancing talks on fifth and seventh freedom air rights to enhance flight connectivity.

This visit is part of Sanya's "go global, invite in" strategy, strengthening its international appeal and paving the way for sustainable tourism growth.
