Intl guests embrace Sanya's allure

More than 30 international merchants on the Overseas Tour Operators Hainan Tour 2025 explored Sanya's diverse attractions on June 9, immersing themselves in the city's abundant cultural and tourism offerings.

Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area, an iconic landmark in Sanya, presented the city's distinctive regional culture to the international travel merchants with its rich history and picturesque coastal scenery.

During their visit to the Luhuitou Scenic Area, they explored the night economy and urban viewing platform, where they were captivated by the stunning night vistas and exceptional views. At Qianguqing Scenic Spot, a cultural theme park, inventive pathways for cultural tourism development were showcased for merchants.

As her first visit to Sanya, Park In-Jung, president of the China-South Korea Cultural Exchange Association, expressed her admiration for Hainan's reputation as an ideal destination for a laid-back lifestyle and pristine air quality.

Impressed by Hainan's duty-free policy, Park remarked on the extensive range of duty-free products and unbelievable discounts available. She highlighted the richness of Sanya's tourism resources, deeming them "very suitable for developing tourism routes for the South Korean market".

Looking ahead, Park disclosed her intention to establish a company in Hainan to bolster cultural tourism collaboration, participate in the growth of Hainan's cultural tourism sector, and unearth new opportunities in the cultural tourism market.
