On the morning of June 6, Guoling village in Sanya's Tianya district buzzed with excitement as a transplanting machine efficiently planted rice seedlings in the field.
The scene was part of a demonstration showcasing the advanced, efficient, and simplified rice cultivation techniques used in the city.

The field utilized innovative methods like one-time fertilization with slow-mixed fertilizers and hard ground micro-sprinkler seedling cultivation.
Sun Jie, a doctoral student from the Sanya Research Institute of Nanjing Agricultural University, detailed the two technologies during the demonstration.
He said, "The hard ground micro-sprinkler seedling cultivation technology is mainly applied during the seedling stage to save seedling cultivation costs and improve seedling quality. The one-time fertilization with slow-mixed fertilizers is primarily used during the fertilization process, increasing fertilizer utilization efficiency by over 15 percent."
"In the past, transplanting was done manually, which required farmers to bend over and plant seedlings one by one. Now, with the machine, it's fast and efficient, truly a game-changer!" remarked Dong Yali, a villager from Yueling, as he observed the scene.
