Intl-famous cruise makes maiden call in Sanya

Sanya welcomed the maiden visit of Star Cruises' Star Voyager on Sept 4, which brought over 1,000 tourists from 16 countries and regions. As the first port on its inaugural Chinese mainland route, Sanya is key to the ship's new series of four 5-night themed cruises. 

The vessel measures 261 meters in length and has a gross tonnage of 77,000. It offers 972 staterooms and can accommodate up to 1,944 guests. Onboard, guests can enjoy the exclusive Palace Suites with 24-hour butler service, a waterslide park, a rock-climbing wall, a zip line, and performances at the Constellation Theatre. 

This year, Star Cruises intends to launch at least seven routes from Sanya, linking popular destinations like Hong Kong and Vietnam. The expansion seeks to provide travelers with a variety of premium vacation options, boosting Sanya's emerging reputation as a major cruise hub in the region.
