Sanya welcomes new chapter in international tourism

While the chill of winter still lingers elsewhere, Sanya is already basking in the warmth of spring-like tides.

As the core hub of an international tourism and consumption center, this hugely popular metropolis welcomes visitors from all over the world with open arms and a hospitable spirit.

In 2025, Sanya implemented a series of systematic measures to enhance the quality of its tourism services. The introduction of a dozen specific initiatives, including facilitating inbound tourism and simplifying payment processes, has made the warm hospitality of the South China Sea even more palpable to every visitor.

The year 2026 marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) and the launch of the high-standard construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port. Sanya is striving to write a new chapter as an international tourist destination.
